Some of our azaleas and rhododendrons begin blooming in early April, with more cultivars coming into flower each week. Peak bloom typically occurs in the second to third week of May. After that, flowering gradually declines, and most plants will have shed their blooms by early June. However, some cultivars continue blooming through September.
