Frequently asked questions
Tours can accommodate 8-50 people.
Tours are $8 per person.
An initial $64 deposit is due at the time of booking, which covers the first 8 people (and is our minimum for tours).
Three days prior to the tour, a staff member will contact you to confirm the final headcount and issue a final invoice for any attendee adjustments.
Tours may be self-guided or guided.
If you choose to have a guide, there is a $50 fee per guide, payable at the time of booking. One guide is required for every 25 guests.
Guides will provide a personalized experience, leading your group through the gardens and highlighting key points of interest along with historical context.

Light refreshments are available upon request for $5 per person. A team member will contact the tour leader (the person who booked the tour) three days prior to the event to confirm whether you would like to add refreshments and to collect the final headcount.
Yes! Whether your focus is ecology, biology, plants, animals, or simply a much-needed return to nature, trips can be customized to align with your classroom’s specific learning objectives and curriculum.
If the number of attendees changes from what was originally indicated, you may notify our staff when they contact you prior to the event.
Any additional participants or add-ons will be invoiced accordingly.
If fewer people attend than originally indicated, a refund will be issued for the difference.
