Striped Barbados Lily (Hippeastrum vittatum) is a striking flowering plant known for its large trumpet-shaped blooms featuring bold red or pink stripes on white petals. Native to South America and widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions, it is popular as both a garden plant and indoor bulb.

This lily typically blooms in late spring to summer, producing tall, leafless stalks topped with showy flowers. It prefers well-drained soil, bright indirect light, and moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. The bulb goes dormant after flowering, requiring a rest period before producing new blooms.

Valued for its dramatic appearance and ease of cultivation, the Striped Barbados Lily is commonly grown for ornamental displays in gardens, containers, and seasonal indoor arrangements.
