Pollinators play a vital role in healthy ecosystems, gardens, and food production. Join URI Master Gardeners Eric Anderson and Dave Vissoe for an informative guided walk through Kinney Azalea Gardens' pollinator garden as you explore the fascinating relationships between native plants and the pollinators that depend on them.
During this hands-on educational walk, you'll learn to identify common native pollinators, discover which plants provide the greatest ecological value, and gain practical tips for creating pollinator-friendly landscapes at home.
Whether you have a backyard garden, a few containers on a patio, or simply want to better understand the natural world, you'll leave inspired with the knowledge to help support Rhode Island's essential pollinators. Limited to just 15 participants to provide an engaging, interactive learning experience with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.
